Subarashi Clynelish 200520 Years Old

The Clynelish Distillery produces a waxy, remarkable spirit that is very close in character to the ghost distillery Brora. This particular cask resembles that legendary spirit so much that no further ageing, finishing or alteration was required.

Aged for 20 years in a refill hogshead, this whisky offers a chewy, cheek-sucking, almost textured spirit that starts in wax and ends in a fruit bouquet.

A simple yet elegant whisky that explores complexity and depth with an ode to spirit character and wood selection, ending in a long and satisfying finish. Not bottled a day too early, but in the company of friends and family — just how it’s meant to be enjoyed.
