Producing extraordinary whiskies is our mission. Through dedicated relationships with distilleries, warehouses, coopers and barrel owners, we source and handpick barrels with a great story and phenomenal flavour.
Great whisky is a long journey. We specialise in small-batch, customised barrels — each a handcrafted piece we create together with our clients, developing a whisky tailored to their personal taste. Whether for yourself, as a gift, or as a private label for your company, a custom barrel never disappoints.

From Cask to Glass: Custodians of the entire value chain
Unlike Design & Packaging, a service for cask owners, Custom Bottling covers the whole journey — including selecting the liquid.
Wood sourcing & selection
It begins in old oak forests, with trees of at least 80 years, handpicked for their age and grain, then air-dried for up to three years.
Bending of staves
Traditional wet cooperage uses fire, water and steam to bend the staves — activating the deeper layers of the wood and releasing its sugars.
Charring
The interior is toasted or charred to a heavy “alligator skin”, concentrating wood sugars and creating a natural carbon filter.
Curing & seasoning
Small barrels made from retired sherry casks are seasoned with fine sherries for years, not months. Their high surface-to-volume ratio gives the depth of a far older, larger cask.
Selecting the liquid
Once the cask is ready, we match the whisky to the wood — sourcing and presenting spirits for you to taste and choose.
Ageing
Our small-batch approach lets us closely control maturation. Deeper, richer, fuller flavours develop in as little as 6–8 months; we tailor your whisky over 3 to 12 months.
Bottle design
Hand-crafted crystal decanters or classic bottles, finished with laser etching, hand engraving or bespoke labels that tell your whisky’s story.
Box design
A case designed around your whisky — artwork, engraving and opening mechanism — developed with skilled craftsmen and artisanal designers.
Material selection & production
FSC® and Rainforest Alliance certified hardwoods, copper fittings and Japanese washi, handcrafted into the finished presentation. Nothing is plastic.

Our debut project: the first Macallan single cask ever finished in Japanese Mizunara oak. 51 bottles.
The Macallan 1986 Relic
A private commission in FSC-certified cocobolo, engraved with Celtic runes telling the story of the malt. 90 bottles.
Chichibu Japan Warrior Series No.1
Sherry puncheon then white wine cask. Sold out within minutes and named the most notable Japanese whisky release of 2017.
