About East Asia Whisky
A Singapore and London-based independent bottler of rare Scotch and Japanese whisky, founded in 2016.
Understatement, exclusivity and the finer details.
East Asia Whisky Company is an award-winning boutique independent bottler of fine Scotch and Japanese whisky, based in Singapore and London and founded in 2016 by Christian Leusder.
We develop luxury spirits to the highest standards, providing tailored solutions, concepts and execution around cask ageing, bottling and packaging. Our releases span blue-chip distilleries including Macallan, Bowmore, Springbank, Bunnahabhain, Karuizawa and Chichibu — among them the world’s first Macallan finished in Mizunara.
We also support clients exploring whisky with the full spectrum of sourcing, investment and authentication advisory, and hold a private collection of rare Japanese whisky from Yamazaki, Hakushu, Hibiki, Karuizawa, Hanyu, Chichibu and Nikka. Our releases are available through Fine+Rare and The Whisky Exchange in London, and we have been featured in Forbes, Drinks International, The Drinks Business, Whisky Magazine and Prestige.

What guides every release
Provenance & quality
Only when a cask is of exquisite quality do we begin the long work of development and bottling — which is why just a handful of casks are released each year.
Craftsmanship & minimalist design
Every release is developed with skilled craftsmen and artisanal designers, using the highest quality natural materials.
A cause for every release
Each release supports conservation or reforestation, and every product is packaged without plastic.

Good whisky comes from nature.
Nature needs to be replenished in order to thrive, so we dedicate our projects to causes that matter.
Conservation. A fixed portion of revenue from each release supports certified charities — including sea turtle preservation with the Sea Turtle Conservancy and marine habitat protection with the Manta Trust.
Reforestation. Since 2016 our packaging programme has supported the restoration of degraded land into native tropical forest, planted with species such as teak, cocobolo and goncalo alves. All of it is FSC certified.
Leave no footprint. Give back what we take.
Where we can, we source and produce locally to save on shipping and emissions.
Ocean clean-up & conservation
A fixed portion of revenue from each release supports certified charities — including sea turtle preservation with the Sea Turtle Conservancy and marine habitat protection with the Manta Trust.
Reforestation & closed loop
Our initiatives support reforestation in the countries that are part of our supply chain. Materials that would be discarded are biodegradable — or reused, never wasted.
