A recipe by master blender Keizo Saji, marrying sherry and mizunara casks drawn from Yamazaki’s hidden reserves. Every component had spent more than 25 years in wood; most of the whisky is believed to have been distilled in the 1960s. Bottled in 1989 to mark Keizo Saji receiving the Order of the Sacred Treasure, and never given an age on the label.
